The Snuza Halo Baby Breathing Monitor
The Snuza Halo baby monitor was given to me as a gift at my baby shower. Unsurprisingly, my first ever impression of the baby breathing monitor was of how cute it looked, especially since it looked smaller and different from other baby monitors. Its bright orange and white colors are so striking. The fact that you could clip it on to your baby’s diaper is such a unique, yet convenient, design as it also allows each breath and movement to be detected. It is a battery powered unit which means there are no cords, wires, or anything to plug in. Overall, this Snuza baby monitor does its job beautifully.
I am so glad that I got one because I ended up using this unique baby monitor on a daily basis. Baby monitors should deliver clear signal, free of interference. The slightest breathing changes should easily be detected. It should be small enough that it is discreet and not bulky, but at the same time, you should be able to easily locate it. The Snuza Halo baby monitor is the lightest baby monitor in the market, weighing in at only one ounce. I found that this amazing Snuza Halo monitor had all these features I required.
The fact that I can clip the Snuza Halo monitor onto my baby’s diaper when he falls asleep is truly unlike any other baby monitor I have ever come across. When I can hear my baby breath and move whilst he sleeps gives me a real sense of control and extra comfort. It’s especially helpful when my baby is suffering from a cold or congestion. For extra security, an alarm is triggered when the monitor has not detected any sort of movement for 15-20 minutes. The fear of SIDS will never be at the back of my mind as long as I am able to monitor my baby’s every motion and breathing even when I am not in the same room as he is.
The great thing about the alarm system on this monitor is that you can adjust the time of the alarm to whatever interval suits your comfort levels. Being able to do this, along with clipping it on to my son’s diaper is just totally amazing. I don’t really trust leaving my son in the care of others, when I need to be away at work, but as long as he has his Snuza monitor attached to him then I’m always at peace.
I highly recommend getting the Snuza Halo baby monitor if you are a parent looking for a suitable baby breathing monitor for your newborn. I know that there are countless other baby monitors on the market, but this deserves a second look. It is extremely effective for a simple, little looking monitor and you wouldn’t think that it was designed for newborns most likely to suffer from SIDS.
